Impartation

Romans 1:11 (NASB)

11 For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be [a]established

Impartation is when grace gifts are given. Impartation is usually released through 3 principles. Environment, influence and association. The purpose of impartation is establishing people in God. Impartation makes them more firm; resolute and unwavering. Strong's definition says the following in Romans 1:11 for the word "established".

στηρίζω stērízō, stay-rid'-zo; from a presumed derivative of G2476 (like G4731); to set fast, i.e. (literally) to turn resolutely in a certain direction, or (figuratively) to confirm:—fix, (e-)stablish, stedfastly set, strengthen.

Environment: What anointing do you surround yourself with? Whoever walks with the wise will become wise. Do you only surround yourself with the prophetic? Evangelism? Teaching? Whatever anointing you expose yourself to is what you will walk in. What you don't walk in you lack exposure to.

Influence: Who mentors you? Who do you allow to influence your heart for the kingdom? Being open to healthy influence dictates whether you can receive from that anointing. Can you honor that you may receive a reward?

Association: Show me your friends and I will show you your future. There is anointing just "breaking bread" together. Communion or fellowship consistently with those walk in certain graces will allows those gifts to move into your life.
