Make decisions from the heart

Proverbs 3:5-6 TPT

[5] Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. [6] Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don't think for a moment that you know it all.

When you trust in the Lord completely, you are entering into a realm of faith where leaning is your only option. We rest the full weight of our lives on Jesus.

Put your heart out there in abandonment to God. Place all your betting chips on the cross and focus on surrender. Faith doesn’t from originate from striving but surrender. Think about lying on a bed, no one makes an effort to prop themselves up on a bed to make sure the bed doesn’t absorb them. They don’t engage their core muscles to escape the clutches of an undisciplined bed.

Just like a bed, trust Jesus and let go. Surrender to him and admit your works cannot help you. Come to him and let him move THROUGH you.
