The Lord’s Shepherding brings peace

Psalm 23:1-4

The Lord is my Shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths bringing honor to his name.

When the Lord leads us through the Holy Spirit, there is a place of divine sustenance and we are satisfied fully in every way. His leading through the Spirit creates rest and peace, where you rest is where you eat. Where you drink is where you sleep. The Lord has created the parable of the sheep to symbolize the life of the disciple and as you go further in this study you will realize how accurate the depiction of the LORD is-as the shepherd and we his people as the lambs.
