Peace with everything

Colossians 1:20

20and through him God reconciled

everything to himself.

He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth

by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

He made peace with everything, Christ is the prince of peace. There is no longer a disconnect between the natural and spiritual world for us. We are at peace.

the word peace or shalom means: nothing lacing; nothing broken; harmonious, of one, not segmented, Not separated.

He has combined heaven and earth in us. He wants to simultaneously enjoy bth realms. He made them both. The kingdom of Heaven is priority and sought first because of it’s permanence but we are dual dimensional people for a reason. 

God wants you to pray like a monk and live like a world traveler. He wants you to be deeply meditative and also constructive. He wants you to be a visionary and a dreamer with real world implications. He wants you to bask in the throes of devotion while still being “in the world” thought “not of it.” These worlds are not in conflict. They have been unified in Christ.
