What you say shapes your world

“And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ “So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.””

I love how the Father is always looking for ways to bless His children. Knowing that in Christ we live under the smile of God is a beautiful truth. One of the ways the Father looks to release His blessing in your life is through your mouth, through your words. We see here in Numbers 6 the instruction that the Lord gave Moses in regards to blessing His people. The Lord said “this is the way you will bless them, say to them...”. Beloved it is time to start saying to yourselves the blessing of the Lord over your life and over your family.

The Lord expressly connected to them that the words of blessing they speak will be the reality that the people lived in. In other words, the words they said to the the people would be the truth that the people walked in. Vs 27 “ So they shall put My name on the children of Israel and I will bless them”.What you speak today over your life Andover your family is what you and your family will walk in tomorrow. The words that come out of your mouth will be the world that you live in (Hebrews 11: “By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible”. YOUR WORDS CREATE YOUR WORLD.

One of the most powerful things you can do to share your destiny and the destiny of those around you is to speak the blessings of the old to them and over them, this releases the very name (nature, character, substance, identity) of God to them. Do releasesHis blessing through your mouth, this is why the scripture says “the power of life and death is in the tongue” (See Proverbs

18:21). You release life through what you speak. If you don’t like the way your life is going right now, Or the way your family is going right now begin to speak the blessings of God over yourself and over your family. The priesthood was meant to speak these blessings over Israel daily.

You might be thinking “Michael, how do I know God wants to bless me?” Simple, the Lord is the one who spoke to Moses to implement the blessing on His people. The idea of blessing was God’s idea! You might then be thinking “Well, how do I know this is going to work for me?”. Also simple, since it is God’s design it always works. Not one of His words will return to Him void.

I encourage you today begin to speak the blessing of God over your life, over your family, over your job, over your bank account, over you health, etc.. And watch as what you speak begins to shape your life. Watch as what you speak begins to “put the name of the Lord” on your life and on your family. Search the scriptures and find all the beautiful truths and blessings that God has and wants for His children and begin to speak them out and watch as how your words create your world!
